Dr. Yuri Kabak, DDS, PhD
Before studying dentistry in Canada, Dr. Yuri Kabak obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Belarusian State Medical University in Minsk, Belarus where he further went on to specialize in Endodontics for an additional four years. Upon arriving in Canada, Dr. Kabak completed the International Trained Dentistry Program at Western University in London, Ontario and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, graduating with Distinction. During his years studying at Western University his academic excellence earned him a spot on the prestigious Dean's Honour List. Dr. Kabak is licensed as a general dentist in Ontario which also permits him to perform procedures in all areas of dentistry including Endodontics and Root Canal Treatments.
In Dr. Yuri Kabak's spare time, he volunteers
in the DOCS Program at Western University, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry and is a Member, ex-secretary at London Speakeasy Toastmasters. Dr. Kabak is fluent in English, Russian and Belorussian.
Dr. Farzad Danesh, (Specialist in Endodontics)
Dr. Danesh on Dr. Farzad Danesh does not rush his treatments. He will spend as much time with a patient as needed to get the work done as close to perfection as possible, even if it means being late for his next patient or for his son’s school play. Whereas some dentists can see multiple patients across several rooms, for Dr. Danesh the only thing that is important is the patient in the one chair he works in.
Dr. Danesh has over 26 years of experience in dentistry and 22 years specifically in endodontics. In 2012 he received a Certificate in Dental Specialty Assessment and Training Program in Discipline of Endodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. This is a very competitive program for foreign-trained endodontists to be able to work as specialists in Canada and he is the only endodontist who was admitted to it in the last year. After completing all requirements he successfully obtained endodontist certification.
His contribution to the endodontic academia is as extensive as his clinical experience. Dr. Danesh has numerous publications in endodontic journals, presentations and live demonstrations in endodontic conferences in North America and internationally.
